The Glock 45 Gen5 Crossover combines a compact slide with a full size frame. It features Glock's Safe Action system which provides a consistent trigger pull; three automatic independently operating mechanical safeties; polymer frame with accessory rail; surface treatment of the slide results in optimal hardness by considerably reducing wear and tear and it makes it corrosion resistant, even when operating in saltwater conditions; the extractor serves as a loaded chamber indicator to comply with the laws of certain states and its position may visually and physically indicate whether there is a cartridge in the chamber of the pistol; reversible magazine catch, ambidextrous slide stop lever and the GLOCK Modular Backstrap System. Includes 3 magazines, mag loader, cleaning set, pistol case and cable lock.

If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver not a handgun or long gun. However, they still are "firearms" by definition, and subject to the same GCA limitations as any other firearms. See Section 921(a)(3)(b). 18 U.S.C. Section 922(b)(1) makes it unlawful for a licensee to sell any firearm other than a shotgun or rifle to any person under the age of 21.
