The Glock 48 MOS is a striker fired semi-automatic polymer frame pistol in a compact size, chambered in 9MM, and features a 4.17" Glock Marksman Barrel, nDLC Finished Black, No Finger Grooves, Fixed Sights, Modular Optic System. It comes with two 10 rounds magazines. The frame features elements of the Gen5 and Slimline series such as the short trigger distance, a frame with a built-in beavertail, a reversible magazine catch and the incredibly accurate, match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) and precision-milled front serrations.

If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver not a handgun or long gun. However, they still are "firearms" by definition, and subject to the same GCA limitations as any other firearms. See Section 921(a)(3)(b). 18 U.S.C.
